BANK OF ENGLAND TRANSFERS As OPG's high-level accounts are held at the Bank of England it is possible to transfer funds from an OPG customer account to another account held (outside the OPG network) at the Bank of England. Transfers can be made to either Exchequer or non-Exchequer accounts held at the Bank. The key service features are: Transfers across Bank of England accounts are "same-day" transactions provided the transfer instruction is faxed to OPG before 3pm. Bank of England transfer instructions can be future dated. Bank of England transfers are secure and low cost Bank of England transfer payment requests are made on the same form used to request CHAPS payments.
